Dr. Judith Sild is a specialist for European law. Within the FMA’s Banking Division, she handles regulatory topics and is especially responsible for the preparation of the implementation of European law. She is therefore concerned with many EU-legislative acts in the field of the capital market, for example CRD IV/CRR (CRD V/CRR II), MiFID II/MiFIR, PSD II, PAD, DGSD or MIF.
Before joining the FMA, she worked as assistant at the Universities of Innsbruck (Institute for European Law and Public International Law) and Linz (Constitutional Law) as well as for a law firm in Bregenz and at the Court in Innsbruck. She also gained work experiences in an Austrian bank. During her law studies in Austria, she spent time studying in St. Gallen and Strasbourg as well.
